Freeman Regional Health Services is an independent healthcare facility that serves primarily residents in Hutchinson, McCook and Turner Counties in South Dakota. Freeman Regional Health Services provides a full range of healthcare services, including a critical access, acute care, 25-bed hospital, Freeman Medical Center. Oakview Terrace is a 55-bed Medicare Skilled Nursing Home providing round the clock nursing care. In addition, two 10-bed Dementia Care Units, Southview and Northview, meet the needs of residents who have Alzheimers, or other types of dementia. Oakview Terrace is physically attached to Freeman Medical Center, making it easy to access medical care quickly, if needed. Rural Medical Clinic in Freeman is physically connected to Freeman Medical Center. Satellite clinics are located in Bridgewater, Marion and Menno. On staff are three full time physicians, one part time general surgeon and three mid-level practitioners. The Rural Medical Clinics practice is owned and operated by Freeman Regional Health Services.
