Golf Scramble A Success!
The 4-person 18-hole golf scramble was held Friday, June 1 at Valley View Golf Course in Freeman. Thirteen teams participated in this event to benefit the work of the FRHS Foundation. The teams persevered in the cool wind and light rain!
The first place winning team was from Marion, SD: John Ptak, Jim Kettwig, Cam Becker and Jay Kettwig
The second place team was Freeman Regional Health Services: Tom Beare, Dan Gran, Barry Preheim and Mark Kasten
Other participating teams were: Avera Sacred Heart Health Services, Cortrust, Four teams from Farmers State Bank - Bridgewater, Marion 1 & 2, and Parker, FRHS 1 & 2, Hefty Seed Company, Whispering Winds, Merchants State Bank 1 & 2, and Michael Walter and Friends.
