Directions to Freeman Regional Health Services

Freeman Regional Health Services is a medical complex which includes a hospital, a Medicare Skilled nursing home with a 10-bed dementia care unit, and two congregate living facilities.  It is easily accessible from Highway 81 using the following directions:

From the South

To get to the main entrance of Freeman Regional Health Services from Highway 81 north from Yankton:  At Papa's Restaurant, turn left (west) on 279th St.  Drive approximately 1/2 mile.  Turn right on Walnut Street, turn right again on College Street.  Turn left on Wipf St.  Go one block.  The parking lot for Freeman Regional is on the left.

From the North

To get to Freeman Regional Health Services heading south on Highway 81 from I-90, turn right (west) on 6th St. going into Freeman.  Drive approximately 1/2 mile.  Turn left on Wipf St.  Drive two blocks.  Parking is on the right side of the street.

Emergency Entrance

The emergency entrance of Freeman Regional is located on Walnut Street.  To get the the ER entrance, if coming from the south, continue straight on Walnut Street.  ER is on the right, clearly marked.  If coming from the north, keep going on sixth street until you come to Walnut Street.  Turn left (you will see Walnut Street Village), and drive 1 1/2 blocks.  ER is on the left side of the street.
