Freeman Medical Center is an acute care, critical access hospital providing a full range of services primarily serving residents of Hutchinson, McCook and Turner Counties. Freeman Medical Center is dedicated to serving the community with quality health care and a dedicated team of professionals.
24-hour emergency room services. The emergency room at Freeman Medical Center is open 24/7. The 3-bay ER is equipped to handle all medical emergencies. eEmergency is is an innovative concept that links health care facilities via two-way video equipment to emergency trained physicians and nurses who assist in the care of a patient from an off-site location - in this case, the location is Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Cardiac Care Unit/ICU is located near the hospital nurses's station. It is specially equipped and contains high-tech instrumentation which allows constant monitoring of coronary patients.
General Surgical Procedures are performed at Freeman Medical Center. Dr. Dennis Glatt is the Freeman Medical Center staff surgeon who sees patients on Wednesdays. In addition, visiting specialists are on staff and see patients when referred by their primary care physician.
