The FRHS Meals on Wheels program provides noon meals for Freeman area residents Monday through Saturday.
This is a service we provide to residents who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to cook for themselves. "Noon meals are provided for residents who have specific dietary needs, and are prepared in the kitchen at FRHS," said Dietary Manager Beverly Ulmer. We deliver, rain or shine!"
Meals on Wheels relies heavily on volunteers. "At this time we are looking for volunteers who are willing to provide this service to our community members," said Ulmer. "It doesn't require a lot of time. Volunteers simply need to stop at the nursing home kitchen to pick up the meals, then deliver them. It's that simple!"
The cost of each meal is $3.71 per meal. Clients can pay at the FRHS Business Office.
