Oakview Terrace Volunteers

There are many opportunities for volunteers at Freeman Regional Health Services. Among them are:

 

Assist with Sunday afternoon worship services, transporting  to and from the worship service and serving refreshments following the service.

 

Provide 1 – 1 activities with residents by reading, writing letters, and providing cognitive and social stimulation, such as hand/lotion massages, music, puzzles, games and visiting.

Present afternoon and evening programs for the residents.

Bake and present other food demonstrations.

Make seasonal and holiday table decorations.

Serve as hospital lobby receptionist and greeter. Serve as host for evening and weekend meals at Oakview Terrace, perform office type jobs, such as filing and organizing patient charts.

 

Assist with bingo every Wednesday.
