Chaplain Horning Retires after almost 20 years of Service To FRHS

Rev. Dudley Horning, retired pastor of the Missionary Church in Freeman, has served as Chaplain at Freeman

Regional Health Services for nearly 20 years.  He retired at the end of December.

Rev. Horning was responsible for ministering to nursing home residents and hospital patients.  He led a weekly

Bible study for the residents, and took his turn providing worship services Sunday afternoons.

His wife, Connie, also contributed, playing piano for hymns when her husband was scheduled to preach.

Rev. Horning was on call 24/7; he would often come in at the request of a resident or patient, or give a last

minute sermon if another pastor was not able to come.

Thank You Chaplain Horning for all you have done for the residents and patients at Freeman

Regional Health Services!!

We wish for you the very best, and may you have a long and very happy retirement!
