Judy De Wit is a graduate of Sioux Falls Seminary and has worked as a mental health therapist in the Minneapolis Metro for over 14 years. Prior to that she taught elementary education in several Christian schools. Currently she sees clients at Stronghold Counseling in Sioux Falls.
Her specialties include working with clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, ADHD, women's issues, spirituality issues, children and teen issues, domestic violence victims, abuse victims and those abused by church leadership. She sees individuals, couples, and families.
Judy has written four books about abuse and abuse in the church. She does training on this subject for churches and Christian organizations. She has additional degrees in theology and leadership, and is currently working on her Doctorate in Ministry at Sioux Falls Seminary.
