Oakview Terrace is a Skilled Long Term Care facility offering complete, round-the-clock nursing care. It is staffed with Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. Oakview Terrace is physically attached to the hospital, with easy accessibility to 24-hour emergency facilities and medical staff. Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies, Restorative Care Nursing, Activities, a Dietary Consultant, Social Services, beautician services and Adult Day Services are also offered.
Oakview Terrace uses pets as a part of resident therapy. Pets can lift the spirits and provide furry comfort to the residents. Cooper John, a lab, comes to the nursing home frequently with his owner Deb Gering. Residents are on hand to give Cooper treats whenever he comes to their rooms.
Two dementia care units, Northview and Southview, are a part of Oakview Terrace Nursing Home. These units are staffed with specially trained CNAs who care for residents with Alzheimers and other forms of dementia. The units are designed to be a safe, secure environment for patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease and/or related dementias.
