Physical therapy

The primary role of a Physical Therapist is to help resolve impairments to improve function.  Treatment interventions focus on pain relief, extremity exercises, transfer and gait training, and education with clients to review home program recommendations.  Teaching clients general principles in these areas help empower them to care for themselves

Tony Miller is the physical therapist at Freeman Regional Health Services. He and physical therapy assistant Emily Wussow work together to achieve the best possible outcome for their patients.

They work with patients who have had fractures, dislocations, soft tissue injuries, as well as those who have suffered a stroke or heart attack.
