EKG Machines Purchased for Clinics

As part of a Freeman Regional Health Services Foundation project, EKG (Electrocardiogram) Machines were purchased and arrived at Freeman Regional Health Services in early June.

The machines will be placed in each of the Rural Medical Clinics - Freeman, Marion, Menno and Bridgewater.

An EKG measures the electrical activity of the heart to generate a report of the heart's patterns.  This information allows health care professionals  to gather crucial information about the heart's rhythm, size and damage.

The foundation at Freeman Regional helps to ensure that important programs and services continue to play a vital role in our communities.  "We are so thrilled to be able to purchase these EKG machines for our clinics," said Foundation Director Ruth Strasser.  "This was made possible through the charitable donations of businesses and individuals in our communities."
