Freeman Regional Health Services offers an Adult Day Services Program under the auspices of Freeman Regional Nursing Home’s Activities Department. This is a community based program that assists adults in need of supportive services so they may remain as active and independent as possible.
Services for clients of this program include supervision in a safe environment, transportation within Freeman, health monitoring, diet accommodated meals and snacks, activities and socialization. This program also benefits the caregivers, giving them an opportunity to run errands without worry, knowing their loved one is in a safe environment.
The cost of Adult Day Services is discussed in detail during the initial interview. Adult Day Services is a flat private pay rate unless the client has long term care insurance that would help cover the cost.
